We look back on an amazing 54^th edition of the Wiener Ball. Now, three weeks later, we are already busy again with the preparations for the lustrum edition, the 55^th Wiener Ball which will take place on February 3, 2024. We will briefly look back with you on the last ball. The ball started amidst the lovely tones of the hunting horn players. Because of them the champagne reception and the ball were off to a great start. This was followed by the dinner for the ball guests and the dinner for the “oud-debutanten” which took place in different halls. This year we had more than 100 young adults. The doors of the ballroom opened at 08:30 PM and all were impressed by the decorations, lighting, and the ambiance of the room. Finally, it was time for the 48 debutants to make their debut. The whole night the dance floor was crowded with both eager guests and debutants and even the Wiener Café was sold out. The evening ended in the disco where both ball guests and debutants were not done dancing.

Did you know that the first registrations for the new debutants have already been received? The registration for the debutants for the lustrum edition is open! We expect a huge run-up due to this special edition. The bond that the debutants form amongst each other through the dancing lessons and the activities afterwards creates a very close-knit group and friendships that will last for a lifetime.

Keep an eye on our newsletters because this year there will be many more extra activities due to it being a lustrum year. There are a number of activities in the pipeline such as a ski trip, lustrum items such as a bow tie of the Wiener Ball, and dancing lessons for ball guests so that you can dance all year round in the run up for the 55^th edition which we are very much looking forward to.
