The Wiener Ball has been held at the Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin in Noordwijk aan Zee for decades.
After the reception and the dinner, the doors of the majestic ballroom will be opened, and you will find yourself immersed in a wonderful ambiance. After the ceremonial opening, the debutantes will perform the choreography they have been practicing for a year. During the ball, the lady debutantes are the only ones allowed to wear a white dress. Following the performance of the debutantes, the dance floor will be open to all. The wooden dance floor is specifically laid down for the ball and is 33 meters long. The ballroom will be cooled down during the evening such that the room has a comfortable temperature.
On the stage, the Ensemble Johann Strauss from Vienna and the dance orchestra from the Marinierskapel will play alternately everything from the Vienna Wallz to Latin and Jazz music. From your loge table, you will be able to witness the performance of the debutantes dancing in classical formation. After announcing the “Alles Walzer”, you are welcome to join us on the dance floor. Furthermore, we also have some appetizers and drinks in the foyer which can be deduced to Austria. Of course, the patisserie of Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin is indispensable in this. While drinking a cup of coffee or tea, you can enjoy these delicacies in the Wiener Cafe.

Before the start of the ball, Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin offers you the possibility to enjoy a stellar dinner joined by other ball guests in one of the restaurants of the hotel. We recommend you buy a combination ticket such that you will be able to have a first-row seat while enjoying the formation dance of the debutantes.

New for ball guests!
We have a new concept and that is the five V.I.P. tables. Five major companies will be the head of the table of the five different V.I.P. tables and they will give you the opportunity, as a ball guest, to join them at their table. These five tables will all have their own theme, which are Fashion, Art, Cuvee de prestige, a royal distillery, and one table that will focus on Sustainability. You, as a ball guest, can join one of these tables for which you are not required to have any knowledge about their specific theme to be able to join them. Furthermore, each company will give the ball guests that will join them at their table a guided tour of their company. If you buy a ticket for one of these V.I.P. tables, you will be able to participate in the tour for free. There will be 10 tickets per table available for ball guests.
